"I found this place while searching for a lunch spot on Google Maps, and after reading some of the top reviews, decided to give it a try. We rode about 10 minutes from our hotel, only to find the warung closed for a wedding event. Despite this, the owner came out to greet us and went above and beyond. He gave us a tour of the house, shared insights on Balinese culture, and even introduced us to his family. His openness and kindness toward complete strangers left a lasting impression. Although we didn’t get to try the food, the warmth and generosity of the owner were more than enough to make this a memorable experience."

"The owner and people working here are really nice and welcoming. I had a great chat with the owner and he is really trying to have a place that is welcome mi g to tourist especially backpackers keeping his prices to local rates and mentioned he would like to make a backpackers hostel in the future which I think will be a great place if he does. The setting is also really nice in the courtyard of a beautiful property with private temple. Cannot recommend this place enough. And to put the cherry onto he gave me a free desert at the end"

"Aka and his family is exceptionally kind and welcoming. We visited on a day that the warong was closed for a ceremony, but Aka so kindly offered us into his home and gave us insights to the Balinese culture and practices. It was the most beautiful experience. Highly recommend paying this place a visit for the authentic Bali experience, and to meet a genuine, kind Balinese family."
